I'd likewise as of late had the vehicle go into limp mode and toss a CEL, with twelve or so codes returning when I examined the vehicle. Giving the vehicle a decent once finished, I detected a couple of more conceivable guarantee issues: the charge pipe gave off an impression of being broken and was noticeably spilling pass up oil; the coolant development tank was obviously split and releasing; the oil dish seemed to have/have had a hole; and the valve cover/valve cover gasket had a break.
I made a meeting with the nearest merchant to me at the time, NYC Area BMW #1. On checking in the vehicle, the SA observed nothing I let him know past an oil change and that I "asked that the vehicle be given a quick overview."
He called 20 minutes after the fact, saying everything looked at and my vehicle was prepared to be gotten. They did the oil change and... that was it. They didn't clear the codes and CEL. When I indicated the still-lit up CEL, the SA emphasized that the vehicle had looked at and was "fine." https://www.assignmentdone.co.uk |
