LITGAS said it signed the contract with Estonia's state-owned energy company Eesti Energia.

According to the company, the natural gas supplies will be provided to Eesti Energia as of March 2015.

LITGAS is also in talks with other Estonian companies, the company said in a statement.
The natural gas supplies will be provided from the new liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Klaipeda seaport, which started its commercial operations this year.
Estonian companies will receive the supplies via a pipeline in Latvia. The possibility to deliver natural gas to Estonia from the Lithuanian LNG terminal was tested in December.
