At the same time, some Weibo media users in China It claims that kimchi is an old Chinese food and the word "kimchi" comes from the Chinese language. It also says that the kimchi that most Koreans eat today are made in China.

The South Korean agriculture ministry said on Sunday. The fact that Sichuan Bao Cai is ISO certified has nothing to do with Korean kimchi pickles. And these two dishes should be clearly separated from each other.
